Do I need to uninstall the progEARTH trial before installing the full version?

Yes. If you already downloaded and installed the progEARTH trial, you will need to remove it before installing the full version of progEARTH.

To remove the trial, use Add or Remove Programs in the Windows Control Panel.

Do I need to reset the progeCAD user interface after removing progEARTH?

Yes. After removing the progEARTH trial, you should reset the progeCAD user interface before installing the full version of progEARTH.

You can do this through the progeCAD Center, which is installed when progeCAD is installed.

How do I reset the progeCAD user interface?

To reset the progeCAD user interface:

1. Open the Windows Start menu.
2. Look for the progeCAD folder.
3. Start the progeCAD Center.
4. Go to Settings > Repair.
5. Make sure the profile you are using is selected, usually Default.
6. Press OK.
7. Accept the default selection in the dialog box.
8. Press OK again.

Your menus should now be reset and ready for the progEARTH installation.

Do I need progeCAD Professional installed before installing progEARTH?

Yes. You must have progeCAD Professional installed before installing progEARTH.

The correct version of progeCAD is required. progeCAD must be the same version required for your progEARTH installation.

When you are ready to download and install progEARTH, scroll to the bottom of this FAQ to find the correct download link.

After downloading the installer, you should copy the file to a removable storage device, such as a jump drive, as a backup.

How do I activate my progEARTH license?

To activate progEARTH, use your assigned serial number along with the Product I.D. that appears in the Registration Dialog Box.

progEARTH licenses are valid for installation on only one computer at a time.

How do I move or reinstall progEARTH on a new computer?

To move or reinstall progEARTH, follow the same installation steps outlined above.
