I purchased the Civil Suite last month and I wanted to thank you for all your pdf tutorials you posted on your site. They have been extremely helpful and they have made the switch from Civil 3D to Carlson quick and easy.
I can confidently say, that I prefer this software over Civil 3D already (used Civil 3D for years)! It’s faster, has more control, and is generally cleaner than Civil 3D. Clean and simple.

Jennifer is a skilled instructor. She is capable of explaining the subject in a manner that her students can understand. She does not talk over your head, and she takes the time to ensure that all are keeping up. She has the ability to see things from your point of view.

All of the City of Greensboro’s Engineering Design Division participated in this training. We are converting to Carlson Civil Suite. The instructor made sure everyone kept up with the training and the training covered all the aspects of road design and surface generation we use.
The examples we worked through and the handout provided explained the processes very well.

It is my pleasure to respond back and offer feedback on the experience. At the time of purchase of the T-3, I was most concerned with my abilities and how long it would take for me to be able to stand alone in the use of this sophisticated program. My past experience was Agtek in which I had a strong knowledge of. From the first time of contacting you and your service, I begin to feel more comfortable with time necessary to operate this system.Our first meeting in which took about two hours, my fears were gone and I found your teaching ability to be excellent. I was able to perform the immediate task and prepare for the next meeting which would bring the total package of earthwork take-off to conclusion. The second meeting was much more relaxed in which we touched on specific questions and computed volumes. Mission accomplished. The one on one training is the way to go that allows the student to retain the information needed rather than be overload with a large training program that you forget most of what you were shown.
I found the total experience to be empowering and I now use this program comfortable with only 3.5 hours of training. My thanks to you and to Carlson for opening my abilities to new horizons

After much inner debate about the necessity of upgrading my Carlson Civil 2007 package- I decided to bite the bullet and spend the money. After soliciting quotes from a couple of semi-responsive and generally un-knowledgeable local vendors, and in one case not getting any response at all, I put the project on hold for almost a year.
After recently running across Jennifer’s website on line, I contacted her, she responded promptly and the deal was done. Jennifer knows the software, trains people on the software, is responsive, and she’s a darn personable gal, to boot.

Jennifer came highly recommended from my Carlson sales rep and she was well qualified as an instructor. She varied the class material to fit the needs of her customers as well as being responsive to after-the-fact questions weeks later. I would highly recommend That CAD Girl to anyone in need of Carlson training and would take similar classes in the future.

The good thing about training with That CAD Girl is the lessons are tailored to your personal needs and speed. I have taken similar classes in the past in a setting were you tried to cram a lot of info into a short 1 or 2 day class. I personally can not comprehend that much info at one time and I am left with more Q’s than A’s.
With Jennifer we train for about 2 hrs and then after I try the work on my own I can pin point difficulties and have my questions ready for the next session. Also Jennifer will e-mail a recording of the session so I can review at my leisure when questions come up. If problems come up I can not resolve on my on Jennifer can respond quickly by e-mail or schedule a short online session. This really helps as you know “time is money”,fixing problems without having to travel saves both.

Yes. As an engineer and surveyor, Carlson is an extremely powerful tool.
