[FAQ212] I’m a civil engineer. What software do I need?
Primarily you’ll probably need Carlson Civil and Hydrology but GIS has a lot of nifty tools for importing images so you may also consider that program a “need” instead of just a “want” as well.
Since all three of these modules are included in the Carlson Civil Suite, that’s usually the better deal.
